Following a cycle accident I was brought privately to Penzance hospital. The reception was efficient and I was see quickly by the Triage nurse. I had a short wait to see the doctor and nurses and anyway I wasn't going anywhere so a longer wait would be of no consequence. I was checked by several nurses whilst at the hospital and it is a bit of a blur. I remember them being attentive to my pain management and the Nurse did a great job assessing my need for stronger pain relief whilst exploring my wound. I was transferred to RCHT by ambulance car and the paramedic did a great job chatting with me throughout the journey taking my mind off my worries. I had a great experience at Penzance.
