"The hospital lay out and cleanliness"

About: Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The hospital lay out and cleanliness

What could be improved

The attitude of the Doctor and the Nurse in the rheumatology department.

Anything else?

I recently attended a consultation in the rheumatology department. The Doctor was very obnoxious and rude. With no bedside manner. I left my appointment in tears.

The appointment was over very quickly. I felt like it was a complete waste of time. No tests other than blood tests were performed, very few questions were asked. It was a waste of an afternoon.

The nurse who took my blood test after the consultation was very rough, I have never before received such a painful blood test, I was left with bruising following my visit.

I have received a follow-up appointment, if I was not in so much pain, I would not go back. Due to my condition I have no other choice. I am scared and not looking forward to it. Patients should not be made to feel like this. Stress is the last thing I need.

I will be writing a formal complaint if my second appointment is the same as the last.
