Our Dear Mom was first taken into AandE,then medical admissions.Firstly she spent some time in ward C1.Unfortunately she had to have an emergency operation resulting in time spent in Crytical Care and S.H.D.U where there dedication and care was so admirable .We had our highs and lows with Moms battle with her illness. When we were told the worst news Mom spent her last days in a side room no1. on B4.Here, we as a family spent every moment with her day and night from Friday morning to Tuesday afternoon untill she passed away peacefully to suffer no more.I would like to say from the moment we arrived at Russells Hall to the moment we walked out that terrible day all staff,Nurses,Doctors anyone invovled in Moms care were wonderful, and we as a family have no complaints only praise. We were treated with the utmost of compasion and were looked after in that room even though those nurses are run of there feet. There are too many names to recall here, but they should know that they should be so proud of themselves and even though they say to you" no problem its our job",I feel there warmth and care went the extra mile.I know families all have there own different experiences, but ours will, knowing everything possible could have been done, help us over time. Thankyou Everyone.
"our Dear Mom recieved the very best of care."
