My daughter is 16 and has a needle phobia. She was told she needed 4 teeth out so she could have a brace. After struggling to find out about a service for children with needle phobias as our dentist was either quite unhelpful or oblivious to what services are available, we were referred to the special needs dental service at Park House practice in Carlton Nottingham by her orthodontist Dr Kaur at 'Orthoworld' Nottingham.
My daughter had two visits with two extractions at each and her dentist 'Lauren' was so lovely. She along with her nurse 'Loz' made my daughter feel relaxed and calm by taking the time to explain everything to her clearly and showed great patience with her anxiety.
We both just want to thank them sincerely and say what a great service they offer. I never would have expected her to go through with it but she did and it was totally painless for her and not at all traumatic. Thank you so much! !
