"delivery staff very friendly nd ..."

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked delivery staff very friendly nd put me at ease.at one point we ran out of car parking money and the midwife actually lent us some out of her own pocket which to me is above and beyond the call of duty! nothing was too much trouble and i felt i was listened to when i developed persitant headaches from and epidural and they took that on board and gave me a blood patch which cured the headches;explaining th proceedure to me and putting me at ease. my baby was transfered to the childrens hospta and because i had to stop in the nurses arrangd free transport for me ot see my baby and even saved my dinner for me when i returned What could be improved? one of the ladys transferring my baby from the neonatal care into the ambulance wasn't very nice to me and said something very confidential in front of the ambulance crew and other parents in the neonatal unit making me embarrased and uncomfortable.also the toliets on the postnatal suite could be cleaner as there was a lot of blood around the toilet seat and floor but apart from that i had a fantastic experience
