"carpal tunnel op"

I had my operation this morning at louth hospital , I was a little aprehensive as I have never been awake for an operation before, although this was only a small procedure,.I was put at ease from the moment I spoke to all the staff they were very friendly. My surgeon was very informative they explained everything as they were doing it and explaing the feelings I would have ,which I thought was very helpful as you know these things are normal..I hope this helps anyone who is going into louth hospital for this procedure.I was in theatre for about 40 mins , all the preping first , the op only took about 10 mins.A big thankyou to all the staff involved. mrs elaine wray.
