I had a hip replacement last September and I think mainly because I was in so much pain and had a lengthly recovery, was a little apprehensive, but when I had my other hip done on 7th July I was in a different place pain wise and mentally. My stay was extremely short - Tuesday to Thursday but everyone on the day ward and ward 34 and physio and OT staff were great. Helpful and kind. Thank you all. I would like to praise my consultant and their team for their skills and caring, and with people like this on your team I think DMH are truly blessed.
