"Amazing care on Polkerris Ward"

At the beginning of our week long holiday my 15 month old developed nasty infected eczema and required IV medication which meant we needed to be admitted to the Polkerris Ward. I wanted to write to say that every single member of staff that looked after us in some form or another were truly amazing and a credit to the NHS and your hospital. As a mum it is very distressing and stressful when your baby is in pain and poorly but the staff on the ward were gentle, caring and compassionate with both of us. Special mention to the wonderful nurses who looked after him during the day and night shifts you can tell that looking after children is definitely their vocation! Once again thank you to all involved with his care, you made a terrible experience bearable and you all do a excellent job.
