"Excellent response from paramedics"

About: Hereford County Hospital

My wife was stung by a wasp on Monday morning. She normally has quite a strong reaction to insect bites and stings but in this case, despite immediately taking an anti-histamine tablet, she began showing unusual symptoms within minutes. I was able to look these up very quickly on the NHS website, and a paramedic arrived within 10 minutes of me dialling 999. By then my wife was barely conscious. The paramedics were every bit as effective and caring as you could hope for. After 6 hours in A and E my wife had recovered enough to come home. Thank you - you are the NHS.
