"left crying in pain"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

bought in to a&e by an ambulance on gas and air and morphine bcus I had a severe back pain and couldn't move at all. was told by them I had an infection brewing in my kidneys and that the hospital would give me antibiotics to sort this before it got any worse. I was taken on the majors ward 2b and I asked several times for pain relief and I was crying in pain, one nurse gave my some into my canular but it stung and made me cry in pain even more I told the nurse this but the nurse walked off, I was then left crying in pain for and hour or more a doctor then came round to tell me that there was nothing wrong with me and they couldn't do anything for me to be told I was being sent home. at this point I am still crying in pain and they still continued not to do anything about this. in the end I got up and walked out to wait in reception for my partner to collect me and not one member of staff came to find me and ask me to come back to the ward. terrible service, felt uncomfortable and was left crying in pain for nearly 3 hours!
