I arrived early as I hadn't been to the hospital in Ystrad Mynach before and wasn't sure how long it would take me to get there. I was helpfully directed to the right area then asked a passing radiographer if I was in the right place. She took me to the door of where I was to have my scan and asked me to wait there.
Within a couple of minutes the sonographer came out, checked my name etc and invited me in. She was very reassuring and professional. I was all finished in fifteen minutes, at the time when my appointment was due...now that doesn't happen very often in any setting!
