About: Royal Derby Hospital

Rang 111 about a week old insect bite that had just turned into a massive rash. They told me to get into an A and E in under an hour. Left waiting for an age then told I'd be in for another 3 hour wait. Time was then 21:30, I explained I has other Healy issues causing severe fatigue and I'd be at severe risk of crashing my car on the way home if I could not rest or leave soon. Was given no choice but to self discharge and try again tomorrow. What a waist of time and effort.
