"Pleasantly quick"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

went with an ankle problem, was triaged, advised and on my way in half an hour, polite and respectful staff. The only bad thing - the bus stop is covered in cigarette ends and litter.

Hi Steve. Thanks for your feedback. Good to hear your treatment was so quick and you found our staff to be polite.

We are very mindful that we have more work to do to tackle smoking and keep our hospitals as clean as possible (inside and out). We have an active no smoking campaign in place and are currently working with patients on the next phase of this work.

If you weren’t already aware, nominations are open for our NUHonours Awards. You might wish to consider making a nomination (your nomination would fall under the Acute category). If you want to make a nomination you can do so via our website: http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours/

Kind regards,

Lucy Thow.

Matron, Emergency Department.
