Fantastic A&E department

(as a parent/guardian),

Just want to say the staff at the A&E department doing the nightshift recently in the NDDH in Barnstaple, were fantastic, friendly and did not keep us waiting at all. My son had a buckle fracture in his wrist and the staff were brilliant could not have wished for better service. Just a shame they are not always treated so well, especially by the goverment.

Dear Parent

Thank you for sharing your recent experience of the Emergency Department with us. I was really pleased to note staff were able to see your son promptly, as it can be such an anxious time for parents and children when attending the department, if faced with a long wait, especially if it is very busy. It was also very good to note the staff were so friendly, and I have shared your very positve coments with the department manager who will in turn share your comments with the team.
