"Second visit to breast clinic"

This was the second time I have had to visit the breast clinic and on both occasions the whole team have been professional, considerate and helpful right through from the initial consultation to the scans , X-rays and treatment. It is also reassuring to see the same faces when you have to revisit a department. The clinic is run like clockwork with the patients moving through all necessary tests in a couple of hours. I can't thank them enough for their excellent care on both occasions. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hospital lets it down and when I have been to the Conquest for an operation have had a completely different experience on the wards with nurses being rude and uncaring. The difference between clinic and ward is like being in two different hospitals.

We are sincerely sorry to hear that you found a contrasting difference between the care you received between the ward and the clinic for breast services. As a trust we aim to provide high quality care in all wards and departments therefore we're sorry to learn that this has not been the case in your experience. We are also disappointed to hear that you found the cleanliness of the hospital to be an issue.
