Referred by GP (who listens and tries to help) to Doctors at Ayr Hospital who have investigated lower right sided abdominal pain by carrying out tests over a long period of time but still unable to diagnose.
Due to inability to get to the source of the problem which is causing acute daily pain and fear of what is causing such symptoms, it has been insinuated more than once that it is not real. The agony and torture experienced is cruel and debilitating and the insensitivity of medical professionals that has been experienced is disgraceful.
From Consultant to a GP. The feeling of helplessness is awful as this is continuing and in fact getting worse. Something is causing this and it seems nobody is listening or trying to help because to date have not been able to diagnose. The terror of not knowing and being left simply to suffer is unbearable.
No longer know where to turn and there is fear that eventually the source of the pain will be found and it could be too late to treat. Have even been told if attending A&E that will be given pain relief then sent home. It appears someone may have put in patient notes that this is in the mind which is absolutely not the case, it is very real to the extent the pain causes life activities to stop and the need to take strong pain relief and go to bed till it eases. So frustrated and do not know where to turn for help anymore.
"Lack of diagnosis of acute pain which is causing much distress"
