"Lost mrsa results"

I was booked for a c-section and therefore had swab tests done 2 weeks before my operation. On the day of my c-section i was prepared by the midwife and just as i was about to go into theatre the consultant came in and told me that they had bad news. The bad news was they could not find my swab test results and therefore could not have my c-section without it. The consultant said sorry we do the test again and the result should be ready in a few days however the next available slot for c-section is a week away as they are fully booked.. Could not believe what i was hearing, they had lost my results and could not find a space for another day, i had to dress back get my bag and go home. I now have to arrange child care for my 3 year old again, plus get her used to the idea that i wont be around for a few days again just when she was ready to take it all now we back to beginning. I wanted to call the midwife to make sure swab results are in this time however no one answers the phone. I'm paranoid same thing will happen again, very very disappointed
