What I liked

The surgical team and anaesthetist were all very kind and supportive, as were the nurses on the Tavistock ward.

What could be improved

Uncomfortable chairs in the Tavistock ward waiting area prior to operation, especially after 3 hours! - I didn't mind waiting at all, but would have liked a more comfortable lounge area?

Anything else?

Very speedy and efficient care.

We are really pleased to hear you had a positive experience of our day surgery unit (Tavistock Ward) and will pass on your kind comments to the unit staff. We will also see if anything can be done to make the seating and waiting area more comfortable for patients awaiting surgery.
