"I had to attend A&E on a Friday ..."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I had to attend A&E on a Friday night in June.

Obviously a very busy time for the staff but I was impressed how courteous and caring the nurses still were under great pressure, The nurse managed to solve my issue and I was there for less than one hour. All the time, despite some unpleasant behaviour from certain patients, the nurses smiled and acted with dignity.

What could be improved

Patient attitude - they should be understanding of the priorities and pressures on staff working in A&E.

Thank you for your comments. In A&E we endeavour to ensure that, whatever the pressure, our staff are professional and polite.
