About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I first wrote a review about getting lost within the Chester Wing part of Sutherland Royal Hospital back in 2013. Very soon after leaving feedback I was pleased and very surprised at how fast the response was. My next visit New Signs were put in place to guide you to your department from the entrance. 10 out of 10 for that fast action. Unfortunately since 2013 I have had to attend quiet a lot of appointments in different departments throughout the hospital. I have all so attended other NHS Trust Hospitals in the north east. Sunderland Royal, for me, is up there, they've got it right. all departments/clinics have been spot on with waiting times. I have turned up 10 minutes before each appointment and been called for within 10 to 20 minutes, sometimes, just as I walk in to clinic. The nursing staff are very informative, friendly, nothing is rushed, they make your visit such a pleasure.Keep it up Sunderland Royal when it comes stress free you have right......... Thank you
