This review is intended as an ongoing commentary of our experiences whilst a close relative is under the care of the hospital. Having been admitted a number of days ago to ICU this patient was finally transferred to Ward Four, this was extremely short lived and a return to ICU necessary. In our limited opinion this is due to lack of communication and care received by the patient. Once back on Ward Four our concerns continue to escalate. This respiratory patient has been placed directly beneath a light well that is so thick with dust and dirt it most certainly could not be conducive to a successful recovery. Concerns have been raised directly with staff and we are hopeful that a resolution will have been achieved on our return later today. We have noted that other reviews receive a standard response the raise issue with customer care team. Hopefully we have hit all necessary targets and improvements will be forthcoming.
