"Inconsolable after Doctor's treatment for..."

I had a truly upsetting experience yesterday when I came for a cystoscopy. I waited for some time in a gown in a procedure room when a nurse came in to use a computer. After some more time the Doctor came to meet me for the procedure. They stood over me where I sat in a corner in my gown and talked about my history. I told them what the previous Doctor had told me about the procedure, that they would look inside my bladder to assess the protein wall lining etc. This doctor said "we don't test for that, we cant even see it. this test is for bladder cancer because you've had blood in your urine". I hadn't known that I told them, and said that I hadn't had blood in my urine for over a year. was this procedure necessary "no, probably not" they said. I was confused. Their manner was extremely cold and disinterested and I became very uncomfortable about what they were about to do to me. The doctor then pushed the form at me and said "you have to sign this to say you want the procedure" and just stared coldly at me "im not sure that I do... I don't know what to do" I said. the nurse intervened "do you want to go away and think about this". "no, i'll just have to wait months if I do that, lets just get it over with, but your manner is appalling and im extremely uncomfortable". The nurse left and another nurse came in, unaware that I was fighting back tears on the table. The doctor went ahead with the procedure without explaining anything, hurting me in the process and I felt violated and uncomfortable and very upset. They finished and said "I see nothing wrong there" and walked out without a further word. I burst into tears and became inconsolable with the nurse. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was an upsetting and dreadful experience that I could not have anticipated. I am still reeling today with the memory of it and this doctor's vile approach to me and the procedure.
