"Sciatica"

For two years the Sciatica pain in my right leg got worse and worse ,in the end I could not walk very far at all or cut the grass/garden ,lift shopping .I am in my 60`s , In February 2015 I went into Casle-Hill Hospital , Cottingham .I was on Ward 9 where the nursing staff are just lovely , I could have not been better looked after from start to finish even the cleaners are jolly and do a great job. My Consultant came to see me, this was very reassuring , as I was to have a "Posteroir Lumber Interbody Fusion" done by them . It all went well and Later that week I was discharged .After a few weeks at home I was out and about again this time with no Pain at all in the right leg and no walking stick ! I very much would like to thank my Consultant and all their team at Casle-Hill Hospital , They have given me my quality of life back ,This is the NHS at it`s best , and I Thank You.
