"too big a gap for the carers to come"

About: North Ayrshire Council - Three Towns, North Coast and Arran

(as a service user),

I have a carer 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from the council. They give me a shower as I can't do this alone.

They quite often come later than planned if they have a bad patient before me. It would be better if they could come at the same time but it's not their fault.

They used to come 7 days but they cut me down to two, I must be doing better now, my walking has definitely improved with the walker. I think from Thursday to the next week on a Tuesday is too big a gap for the carers to come - Tuesday and Saturday would be better

Good evening ianll

Many thanks for your feedback - I am glad to hear that you have continued to improve and your mobility has improved with your walker.

Can I please ask that you contact me on the number detailed below if you would like me to request a re-assessment of your service to ensure that the times and days we visit are better suited to meet your needs.

Kind regards

Louise Davidson (01294 310222)
