"Really unexpectedly wonderful!"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

I was a patient on the VB ward for the removal of fibroids that had grown to the size of a 22 week pregnancy. I was frightened and disorientated. But if I had to stay in hospital again my choice would be on Victor B - the staff are thoughtful and kind and they speak to you so warmly - everyone, from the surgeons to the cleaners - gives you dignity and respect. And they are always smiling! All of them! I was in huge discomfort after the op and not at my best in terms of mood but they were all absolutely lovely. The place is clean - I mean really really clean - and shiny;as if it has only just been opened. The only thing I can fault is the disgusting food - but that's is hardly the fault of the ward.
