"outstanding care ward 7A"

Our 90 year old mother spent just over three weeks on 7A recently. She was seriously I'll. Having spent hours on this very busy ward,I saw first hand the the skills ,teamwork and caring attitude of the Staff of this ward. From the first line reception staff,with their friendly reassurance,you felt they knew every patient.......to give those pleasantries on an acute fast changing ward is exemplary. The domestic staff were continually cleaning ,serving drinks etc augmented with friendly cheerful banter . The nursing care was what we we would all wish for ourselves I will use the word outstanding again,my mother suffered a crisis ,I have no doubt that without their quick and skilled intervention mum would not be with us now. The Medical team not only discussed diagnosis and management with our mother,but explained to us ,her next of kin too.as she tends to be forgetful A benchmark for all NHS care .Thank you.
