"Thank you"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

This is a follow up to previous 'concerns' on this site. I am very happy that my concerns were dealt with personally & promptly. I was telephoned by St Marys, and was assured that what happened with my Mother was not acceptable and that it would be looked in too - which I believe it was. I now cannot praise the nurses on Albert Ward enough. My mum had some wonderful nurses. They were all so professional and genuinely cared for my Mum. She was made so comfortable, she didn't want to leave! It is such a shame that a handful of poor carers / nurses made me voice my concerns, but I am glad I did as not all elderly patients have family to speak up for them. Once again - many thanks to all in Albert Ward, my Mother is still far from coming home, but she is now in Rehab, and if the care she receives there is like St Marys, she should be home soon.
