About: Colchester General Hospital

Dr and nurse did not know what each other were doing! given a mix of drugs by A & E Dr that if i had taken they would have killed me, now have this in writing in a letter from the complaints dept lucky for them a chance conversation with a nurse from brightlingsea ward made me call a chemist. lost all my CT scans! how is that possible when it all goes on a computer? each time i contact the hospital they have a new address for me ,lived at the same house for 13yrs but they have 4 addresses for me, some they say i have lived at for 2 days!

I apologise you’ve not had a good patient experience. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients, their relatives or carers. We would like the opportunity to discuss your experiences more fully and to apologise in person. If you are willing I would appreciate it if I could ask the matron to contact you. Could you email me, using the reference “Comment on Accident and emergency services at 29/06/2015 21:04:44”, please? Many thanks Paul Searle, Head of Communications Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk
