Having attended the Gynaecology Outpatients department back in December 2014 I received what I felt was a very rushed appointment with very little information and only one option being 'pushed' by the gynaecologist who offered me the treatment there and then. Given that this was the first time I had met with her and had not discussed this particular option with my own, very caring GP, I decided to take some time and think about the procedure before having it done. I was advised that I would be sent another appointment in the new year to attend. I did receive an appointment for March, this was then cancelled by the Doctor until June, then again until September and most recently until November. In this time of waiting my problems have started to iron themselves out so I have now cancelled the treatment altogether, however I can't help think that if this had been something that I still required would I be waiting for yet another year with more continuous cancellations due to 'unforseen circumstances'?
