"Labour Ward"

Having been bought in as an emergency on 19th June after suffering seizures at home and going to HDU room I can honestly say the care we received couldn't of been any better. I've had all 4 of my children at the General and the care just gets better each time. I must give a special mention to our midwife and what an absolute credit they are to the hospital. My midwife kept me calm in what was a very stressful and scary time and had a fantastic personality to boost, even coming to find us at the start of next shift to see how we were. The aftercare was also fantastic with midwives regularly popping in to see if we were ok and the discharge was remarkably quick compared to other times. All the midwives we met were cheerful and always had time for a quick chat. Another quick mention to a midwife who was particularly cheerful :-) anyway wouldn't hesitate to choose this hospital again, even though we live right opposite another hospital.
