"I went to the N&N in January ..."

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I went to the N&N in January following a bleed at 6 weeks into my pregnancy. I was made to feel safe and secure, the nurses and doctors were exceptionally understanding and we were immediately refered to the early pregnancy unit for a scan. When we had a 2nd bleed at 16 weeks, the standard of care was once again exemplary, I was out of casualty and in the specialist ward within 30 minutes of arriving. I felt that all of the staff I dealt with went above and beyond, helping my partner and I feel comfortable at all stages of my care - and for that I am so grateful.

What could be improved

Nothing.

Anything else?

Thank you to all the staff involved on Cley ward and in the EPU, I feel very lucky to be in catchment for the N&N when so many other hospitals wouldn't have given me scans, etc so early in my pregnancy. Thank you.

Many thanks for taking the time to let us know about your care. Pleased to hear your care was exemplary and we'll pass this on to the team on Cley and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit. Very best wishes to you.
