What I liked

I had to wait about 12 hours for surgery but I was informed at the beginning that this would be the case and I was regularly kept up to date. The staff were friendly and helpful.

What could be improved

I would like car parking to be cheaper, its difficult when you have no idea when you will be leaving. The medical staff were great and the surgery team very reassuring.

Anything else?

This is an excellent hospital. I had cataract surgery a year ago and it all went like clockwork.

I was very impressed. From beginning to end I was kept informed and guided to the next process and sent on my way with contact detail in case of problems. Coudn't be better.

We are pleased to hear thay you think we are an excellent hospital. Such comments do mean a lot to staff. We have made sure that our car parking charge is the cheapest of any hospital in the region at ?2 for 3 hours (and the first half hour is free - so friends or relatives can pick up and drop off at no cost. The Part and Ride bus service also only costs ?1 currently.
