"A&e"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

The a&e was busy and triage was fabulous. However it took 4 hours to then go through to the department. Only being seen after a member of staff had come to inform those waiting that there was a four hour delay, on top of what they had waited. The department was dirty, the drinks machine was not working and it was cold in the waiting area.. Especially after waiting for so long. The doctor seemed uncaring and dismissed me very quickly with not even an X-ray much to the horror of my Physio. Pain relief prescribed but no assistance to walk. No care... Having been sent to a+e from Shropdoc being treated like a second class citizen was demoralising and upsetting.
