About: Poole General Hospital

I attended Poole A&E on Thurs 18th June with my 17 year old son, who had a nasty displaced fracture of his wrist. Your staff were a credit to the hospital. Right from the receptionist who booked us in, to the triage nurse, nurse practitioner, xray staff , A&E doctor, orthopaedic doctor and the medical student,all your staff were polite, kind and thoughtful. We were fully informed, and involved in decision-making. I was very impressed how the medical student was incorporated into the team and involved in our son's care. We are very grateful to all the staff involved in his care- thank-you.

Thank you for providing us with you feedback following your visit to ED with your son after he had his accident. I am very pleased to hear that you had a very positive experience here at Poole Hospital. Our staff work continuously hard to provide prompt diagnosis and treatment for our patients and it is very encouraging for our staff to receive kind comments from patients and their families. We work in partnership with the Bournemouth University and are pleased to hear that the student who was on duty on the day was helpful throughout your son's episode of care.
