What I liked
Reassuring treatment by Doctors and nursing staff from start to finish- initially in B10 and mainly in B8.
Difficult to believe that nurses can be so kind and patient day after day...and that Doctors can be so supportive and encouraging some six months after my hospitalisation.
What could be improved
Cannot think of anything...the variety and quality of meals was a complete surprise.
Special thanks toTeresa who brought breakfast nice and early - the toast and marmalade was like nectar!
Anything else?
On a day when I have read of critical comments from Inspectors regarding cleanliness...I could not have been MORE impressed by the standards of daily cleaning in B8.
When you are stuck in a bed for 18 days you notice things in some detail - the ward was VERY carefully cleaned every day...as were the bathrooms and toilets.
On admission to Broomfield Hospital, I was VERY scared.
On being discharged 18 days later - it was like leaving a second family...my thanks to each and every one of you!
