"Unsatisfied with cleanliness and care at Pinderfields"

I was treated for low blood sugar on P ward at Pinderfields. The meal times were great. However, the ward could be cleaner, in fact so could the whole hospital. I would have liked more information and more care given to the patients. I wasn't being informed enough about my condition, my family had to ask at every visiting times.

I was very unsatisfied. I was left in MAU (Medical Assessment Unit) ward for up to 7 1/2 hours before I was seen by anyone, not even a nurse. I was very dehydrated and if I would have been left any longer I was told I would have gone into a dangerous diabetic coma. I was very disgusted by this. It is time that there was more funding for this hospital to make it cleaner, then it maybe more pleasant to go to.
