About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans Western Infirmary/Gartnavel General

(as the patient),

During my treatment for Lymphoma I have required several CT, MRI & PET scans, the imaging department at the new Victoria have always been prompt & efficient and made me feel like an individual not a number..

Gartnavel's PET scan Team also looked after me twice & were excellent too.

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Thanks again for writing specifically about the imaging departments at the New Victoria and Gartnavel - from both this and your previous post it is clear that the teams at both hospitals really embodied the spirit of person centred care which we really value.
