"My stay at Alan Apley Ward"

I was recently admitted to Alan Apley Ward at very short notice for a complicated operation. I would like to thank all the staff, including the ones that I saw frequently who were all very professional, kind, caring at all hours of the day and night. The food and choice of food was excellent, fantastic view of the Thames and the cleanliness could not be faulted. The attention to detail by the cleaning staff (such as wiping the top of the curtain rail) was noted. I would also like to thank the doctors, consultants and the anaesthetists who were also extremely kind, knowledgeable and put me at ease before the operation. Well done to the no smoking campaign and it would be good if other hospitals took up the initiative in dealing with this difficult problem in a pro active way. Thank you all very much and I wish you all the best for the future
