New reception desk providing information about where to go.

What could be improved

My outpatients appointment was at 4.00, I was finally seen at 5.45 after waiting in a grubby and very warm waiting room with no warning about the delay and no explanation or apology except to say after an hour that they were running late!

If I had been warned from the outset that there was such a long delay then I could have at least put that time to better use or rearranged the appointment for another time.
