About: East Surrey Hospital

In recent years, East Surrey has become much more 'customer orientated' than hitherto. At my most recent visit, I was very impressed with the Reception Staff, both with regard to their efficiency and their pleasant and welcoming demeanour. The Specialist was likewise very kind - explaining each step of the process, and taking time to explain their findings.

It is with great pleasure that I have read your comments. We have worked with our reception staff to continually improve the service they deliver and have introduced a customer care taining programme to help with this. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the staff in the Ophthalmology department.
