Thank you so much to the consultant urologist, doctors, nurses, play staff and student nurse for their help today with my grandson. This is an outstanding unit with amazing staff who were very prompt, caring and professional. He cried when he had to leave. What an amazing facility.

Dear Mrs Franks, I am so pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience when your grandson was in Kingfisher Ward. I know how very upsetting it can be to see your child or grandchild in pain and whilst we all work in for the NHS, we always try and remember that hospitals can be frightening places for children and their families. It’s great to hear that he had such a good time he didn’t want to leave! I hope your grandson is on the mend and back to his usual self soon.
