"Acute Medical unit"

I had occasion to be treated here on Tue 16th and Wed 17th of June 2015, I was very impressed with it, one of the treatments was extremely unpleasant but I was talked through it first and was well warned what was going to happen, the two members of staff were brilliant and reassured me all the way through it that I was going to be ok, I ended up having to have my heart shocked back into it's natural rhythm but once again it was fully explained what was going to happen before anything was done. I read a lot of very adverse comments about the hospital but must compliment all the staff on the AMU, apart from being very professional they also went out of their way to put you at ease and treat you like a human being. I walked out of there extremely happy with a normal heartbeat. Once again I can only give the highest praise for the unit.
