car park price is a little steep, especially if you are there on a weekly basis.

I think it is totally ridiculous that you see a consultant at your hospital,He or she advises you that you need physiopherapy, yet you have to wait up to 5 weeks to get an appointment.Everybody knows that the crucial part of rehabilitation is to start rehab immediately.What are you ment to do in these 5 weeks prior to your appointment.Scar tissue is harder to treat the longer you leave it, also if you have swelling how are you meant to treat it.

By the time it took me 5 weeks to get an appointment and then another 5 weeks to see a physio, thats 2 and a half months with swelling which can't be good, and probably even longer time to recover becuse of this. ice packs only do so much! I have previously had Cruciate ligament reconstruction and was seen by a physio within a week of the operation, so it can be done.

Thanks for your feedback and we are pleased that you found Hertford County to be a pleasant hospital in which to have your care. With regard to parking prices, if you are going to be at the hospital on a weekly basis, it may be worthwhile checking out the season tickets on offer - they may represent better value.

Finally your comments about physiotherapy. While understanding your frustration, it is important to point out that although these services are provided from the same hospital, they are actually run by another NHS organisation - the local primary care trust. We are aware that demand for physiotherapy is high, which presumably is why there can be a waiting time before they can begin once a patient has been referred by one of our consultants to this important service.
