"useless unfriendly staff"

About: Central Middlesex Hospital

never had so bad experience in my life, one member of staff came and went straight to computer as if they are doing some works. i stand in front of desk looking at them. they were all smiling playing on computer and didn't even noticed me that i was there. i said morning and their face seems unhappy as i disturb them. i said i got appointment and they didn't even look at my appointment letter , just told me to wait there. wait for another 1 hr no one seems to come. the same person still there who spend all the time on computer. finally someone came in i told them i got appointment they told me to fill up the form, i don't know why that 1st person didn't gave that form to me, it could be given by any staff but they don't bother it. again i have to wait another 1 hr. for 2 hrs i keep watching that person who was enjoying with the computer and sometimes mobile. got enough time to chat with a colleague but not with the patient. if anyone go to the desk it just had 2 words ' wait there'. they don't care at all. anyway Dr was good. now i have to think twice if i have visit again. i hope not. don't go there if you don;'t have enough time.

It is very disheartening to read your feedback about your appointment at Central Middlesex hospital.

The welcome you received is not in keeping with the standards the Trust sets its staff and I am very sorry that the conduct of the reception staff that you witnessed was so poor.

Should you wish to provide us with any further information about your appointment and the staff involved then please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Relations team at LNWH-tr.patientrelations@nhs.net

Despite your poor experience, it was pleasing to know that you were happy with the doctor who saw you and thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.

Kind regards

Patient Relations Team
