"Nearly an expensive wasted journey"

About: Hammersmith Hospital

I live a considerable distance from the hospital and had attended for my planned appointment after spending £100 on travel costs. When I booked in I was told that my appointment had been cancelled the day before and had been rescheduled, however nobody had bothered to tell me. Fortunately the receptionist was able to get me seen by the specialist, much to the distain of the specialist who was very rude. Upon my return home I was welcomed by a voicemail telling me that my rescheduled appointment had now been cancelled even though by the time the voicemail was sent I had already been seen? I am very disappointed with the service I have received today, but would like to thank the receptionist for their help in not making my journey and costs unnecessary.
