"Ward F1/F2"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

I have just had my second miscarriage within a matter of months. I was sat waiting for a second scan on this pregnancy to "confirm" that my baby had died, I already knew this was the case from having my first scan the week before on 8/6/15 but I do understand that it is protocol to make absolutely sure 100% before classing it as a non viable pregnancy. I was then called and took through to ward F3 which is antenatal ward and told to take a seat with all the pregnant woman because I was booked in for my 12 week dating scan, I was still asked to wait here despite telling the member of staff I didn't need a dating scan as there is no longer a baby. I was then asked for my green pregnancy notes which again I had to explain I didn't have them as my baby had died and I shouldn't be in this department I should not have been removed from the previous ward. I then went on the have my scan on the antenatal ward and was then took back to the gynaecology waiting room. This was a horrific experience and absolutely disgusting to be treated this way at a hard enough time as it is even after explaining my circumstances to members of staff.
