"Parking"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Attended the hospital for an outpatients appointment with disabled Mum. In the rush of getting her to the appointment and sorting out the wheelchair, forgot to get a parking ticket. OK - my mistake - but really, £60 fine for a £1.87 ticket - come on - how is that fair ? Especially when displaying a current disabled parking badge!

I am sorry to learn of your experience and subsequent parking ticket. Your comment has been shared with Carillion plc who manage the parking on the hospital site. May I suggest that you try to appeal through the process given on the back of the ticket to see if this can be over ruled. Kind regards. Mrs Johns, Complaints Officer
