I wanted to thank all midwifes who took care of me and helped me at every stage. I had opted for epidural and my choice as respected and I was given epidural. The midwife was by my side all night and made sure I was in correct positions so that epidural does not slow down my labour. I ended up having forceps delivery as my baby was not in correct position. All staff worked together to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend labour ward. After care in maternity ward was a mixed. The first day morning I met a very caring midwife but night staff were grumpy and one of the midwife who took blood for testing at night left a massive bruise in my arm. Also missed having lunch and dinner as no one came by to serve food and i was very hungry.
"positive experience at labour ward"
