"Colposcopy Treatment"

I visited the hospital after receiving an urgent letter to attend a Colposcopy examination after a smear test had highlighted some abnormal cells. I was seen very quickly and my treatment was carried out at my appointment. Although it was a rather pleasant experience I found the doctor and their staff very reassuring. Due to the nature of the cells found, the doctor rushed through the results and I managed to receive them in two weeks (all clear!) rather than the expected 4 weeks. I have heard from others of agonising waits for results at other trusts so I was very grateful I was put out of my misery quickly. I am now under 6 monthly supervision and I can't fault the care I have received.
