"19 weeks of waiting"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I really would like to leave a positive feedback but i can't. My GP refered me to gyno consultation early February in 2015. I'm still waiting for my appointment. I called the hospital appointment department in April, where the person at the phone told me, they can see I'm on waiting list but there are few more before me, probably I'm going to receive my letter in May. After May just passed and i have had no letter yet, I called in again (18 weeks after referral), where the person I spoke to said, because this is a non urgent matter I probably have to wait a couple of more month. It' really shocking!

Dear Veronika

I would like to apologise on behalf of the trust for the severe delays in you receiving an outpatient appointment and this is clearly unacceptable.

If you have not yet had an appointment confirmation, can you please contact our PALS officer, Helen Metson at Lincoln on 01522 577072 and she will be able to look into your concerns and provide a speedy resolution.

Regards

Sharon Kidd
